From the back cover:

Do people take one bite of your food, moan with delight and beg you for the recipe?
Do they exclaim, "Out of this world!" and "Beyond perfect!" when they taste your cooking?
Do your dinner guests wheedle to take leftovers home?
When you cook from Beat This!, they will. In a witty knowing style, Ann Hodgman throws down the gauntlet in the first "cookbook with attitude," a can't-fail collection of irresistible - and yes, unbeatable - recipes.

This book is on its way to Indiana to the first person in the bookring. I put a recipe for brownies in there which I think is better than the one in the book! I had a recipe for seven layer brownies which was even better, but I can't find it. If you'd like, feel free to share any recipes you have which you think are better than the ones in the book. I also put in some extra recipe cards/pamplets which I had - Feel to take whatever you want, just be sure to keep the book going! Gotta go, all these recipes and pictures are making my mouth water!!!!! Thanks & Enjoy!

It's all here! Thanks, I haven't even started on the book - I'm still going through the extra goodies that came with it! I'm going to copy some of the recipes and get it sent on to the next one. I also have a couple of things to add. It should have lots of interesting goodies when it gets to the end.

This book was great! Thanks for sharing it. We had the beef stew (page 25) and it was great! I added some recipes to my cook book and I'm sending it on to the next person on Friday.

Received today in the mail. Can't wait to get to it, but have a few books ahead of it. Glanced through some of the recipes, and they look pretty good....

Oct 20, 2003...

This is a great cookbook! Some of these things I would never make, but the others....they sound perfectly mouth-watering just reading them!! I'll have to make a few copies of some recipes....maybe it would be easier to just buy the book! Will send on as soon as the copies are finished....

This came in the mail the other day. I can't wait to copy and try some of these great recipes! Thanks for doing this ring! I will add some recipes as well. :)

I enjoyed this book alot, except I did'nt care for the format. It would be more user friendly to put in cookbook format. The mashed potatoes were awesome! I really enjoyed the other things as well. I've added some things myself and will be sending it on its way! Thanks for this bookring.

Yippee, this arrived in the post today! Such a lovely BC package - can't wait to peruse...

This is a lovely book (and all the enclosed goodies fabulous as well) - I have copied down a few recipes and will continue it on its journey ASAP.

Received the book today...I'm not sure what happened to the extra recipes, etc. that were supposed to accompany it?
I look forward to trying and copying a few recipes and then sending it along.

I copied down some recipes to try, couldn't get ahold of AuntK, but did get booknhand, so am sending it along to her tomorrow. I enjoyed this book, but I agree with someone else when they said it would have been better had the recipes been grouped in similar categories as with most cookbooks.

This book arrived safely a couple of weeks ago. I had another bookring in front of it, but I have had a chance to skim it and want to really look through it more completely and copy some of these recipes before passing it on.

I should have it out in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for sharing it ILuvToRead2 :)

RELEASE NOTES:

This bookring is moving again - sorry for the delay. Right after I promised it would go out, I found out I needed to go out of town unexpectedly to help a friend. I just got back, so now this book is on its way agian.

Again - SORRY for the delay everyone :)
