I found that this was a fairly good book, well written, and very compelling. When the man who runs a very nice bank, and is very wealth, is shot while hunting, the investigation begins. With Lucas Davenport on the trail of the killer, they are sure to be caught, but not before this person can do as much damage as they can. The main problem is that when his co-workers are asked if there is anyone that might want to kill Kresge, there is not name, but an estimate number of people who might want to kill him.

I gave this book to my grandma, who lives in Klamath Falls, Oregon, in the USA, and is not a bookcrossing member.
