I just finished this delightful book. Jasper Fforde is definitely going on my "Buy More Books By This Author" list. It did take me a little effort to get into the book initially - I had expected it to be set in the future, and was a little thrown to discover it was set in the recent past - but once I settled into the story I could hardly put it down. I loved how the world of this book was obsessed by art and literature. Some of the characters were a bit over-the-top, but it was all in fun.

What great fun! I didn't really know what I was getting into, but I enjoyed it tremendously! I've put the next books in the series on my wish list. :) I like this sort of alternate reality type books because they stretch my brain a little keeping up with the new rules. Thanks so much for sharing!
