Received today along with 2 other bookray books. I'll read ASAP and return. Thanks for the loan! I've really wanted to read this :)

Release planned for Thursday, November 13, 2003 at mailed to fellow bookcrosser in San Francisco, California USA.

Returning book to JDT because my mom gave me her paperback copy to read and then book cross. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read it. Wish I could have gotten to it sooner! I'll let you know what I think when I'm done.

Fun to receive this book back after a little trip!
(much better than having it sit on my shelf unread)
Looks like a cozy read when I have some time.
Thanks, tamster33!

A good Maeve Binchy story - when you're in the mood. Creative device: told through the characters' connections/meet-ups at an enduring restaurant. Characters/ places from previous books surface at Quentins.

Sent to Emb - Reverse Wishlist Relay.
Enjoy!

This was a good book. There is quite a bit of storyline jumping around in the book. I would have preferred that Ms. Binchy focused on the Brenda/Patrick story line and developed it or just focused on the Ella/Don story line and developed it further...

"is it possible to tell the story of a generation and a city through the history of a restaurant? Ella Brady thinks so....Quentins has a thousand stories to tell; tales of love, of betrayal, of revenge; of time when it looked ready for success and of times when it seemed as if it must close in failure...

Interesting right off the bat, certainly would make you think twice before jumping into a relationship.
