I finally picked this book up to read as it lingered on my TBR shelf for quite a while. Based on the cover, I was expecting a cozy, but got a very gritty and fairly dark mystery instead. Well written and full of weird characters and even weirder physchological issues - I did enjoy it.
There are definitely portions in this novel that require brain- bleach and a wire brush to get rid of the images and some scenes disturbing enough to induce nausea - not a mystery for the faint of heart.....

Another book crosser sold on the cover. Picked up at yesterday's Calgary meetup. Hope it's a page turner... I'll need a few for the christmas break.

Whoops! I read this a while ago and must have forgot to journal it! It took me a while to get into this book despite the awesome (and I do mean awesome) cover illustration. I read it cover to cover but I'm not sure I'd read another in the series. Hmm...

Will be brought to next b/c meet up in Calgary and handed off.

I picked this up today at our March meeting at the Joshua Tree Cafe. The bag was a bit heavy!!

Just finished the book. My - what a lot of trials and tribulations the characters have experienced. Hard to pick out who was the one warped enough to do the killing, even though I had strong suspicions that were correct. I didn't have to put the book down though - even though it reminded me of some of the people I deal with at work. Taking this to the June meet up at Cravings.

Picked this up at June's BookCrossing meeting, adding it to my TBR pile.
