Journal Entry 1 by seethroughfaith from Turku, Varsinais-Suomi / Egentliga Finland Finland on Wednesday, January 26, 2011
This book is the 14th I've registered this year here in Turku, the European Capital of Culture! It was donated to Bookcrossing at the Little Brittania stand in Turku market hall.
'The most imaginative British novelist of his generation' - THE TIMES * 'A Buchanesque adventure yarn set in 21st century London' - THE TIMES * 'Banks has pulled off a great double - a deeply satirical and thought-provoking thriller that will make you laugh but will also have you shredding your fingernails.' - SUNDAY EXPRESS * 'A thrilling read, it's a dazzlingly clever, edgy, suspenseful book.' - SCOTLAND ON SUNDAY
.... other guests join in ... just as mobiles start to ring, and the apartment's (flat's surely!) remaining TV is turned on, because apparently a plane has crashed into the World Trade Centre
whet your appetite? this book is heading over to Kerttu - where you can find it and take it home to read :)

Well, the book was never released in Wales (or it made a really quick trip!), instead it ended up to our local meet up and to my bag... The WTC aspect caught my attention, we'll see how the book turns out to be!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Decided to let the book travel forward, as my book case is about to burst... So, it's going to someone who has it on their wishlist! Greetings from European Capital of Culture!
Well, this was the best way to start the week, an unexpected book from my wishlist. I can not thank you enough pippis for the kindness and I hope to read this one as soon as I can. :D
