Born to duplicity and blessed the the carnal arts, Nancy finds married life suits her down to the ground. But as any newlywed domestic goddess/paddle-wielding dominatrix will tell you, it's only a matter of time before something has to give.

And when Matt suddenly decides he wants children - well, motherhood and apple pie seem a long way off when you're serving dessert to your husband one day and someone else is licking it off you the next.

As Nancy becomes increasingly paranoid about her two lives colliding, she wonders if it's time to check out of the Upper East Side hotels for good.....

Oh dear, I picked this book up over 4 years ago?? Thanks for sharing Madam Muck and sorry for it languishing unread on my TBR shelves for so long. I do tend to want to read the first of a series by an author so maybe I was holding off initially, before it was pushed to the back of the shelf?

Anyway, I have finally read it and... meh. It was OK. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the first book and was a little more invested in the main character? The writing style, characters and plot didn't really gel together for me to enjoy this book much. Having read it, I will not be running off to search for more books by this author. It wasn't bad, just not great IMHO :)

I plan to return this to whence it came... back to the Coffee Club at Nundah where we are still catching up over four years later.

Released 9 yrs ago (8/30/2015 UTC) at Coffee Club - Nundah Village Shopping Centre in Nundah, Queensland Australia
