WILD RELEASE NOTES:

By the Eifel Tower

I found this book at the Eifel Tower at Bastille Days in Milwaukee last week. What a wonderful treat. Interestingly, I was just finishing "Rising Sun" by Michael Crichton which involved Japanese business in America. How coincidental that "How to Be an American Housewife" is also about Japanese culture. Dilloway's heart wrenching story of how a Japanese woman survived WWII, married a US Navy man and moved to the US was a real page-turner! I could not put it down. I was especially shocked to learn how the Japanese treated the "Eta." How sad that this type of discrimination still existed not so long ago.

I will release the book at "The Perc Place" a coffee shop in Hartford, WI.
