Wow, I love finding bookcrossing labels in the books I mooch.... this was mooched from California, so I think a leg or two of the journey was unjournalled perhaps.
As I was about to journal I had a funny moment - the label is exactly the same as the ones I tape in (ok, downloaded from the site, so not original, but taped in a bit crooked and on the side just like mine always look, no offense at all intended!) - so for half a second I wondered if I'd actually mooched a book I had traded with someone ages ago! Then I realized I don't print out the numbers but write them by hand, so it couldn't have been my label. Strange moment though...
Anyway, I look forward to reading this next book in the Three Soldiers series.

Initially I was terribly confused - the book was listed as TBR on my inventory, and yet the first scene was totally familiar - had I read it and forgotten to change its status? Now I suspect I must have read that scene when I read the first in the series. (Occasionally this happens to me when I've read a "sneak-preview" sometimes included at the end of a book... I pick it up and am worried I've already read it, and then realize it's just that I read the "trailer" so to speak.)
Anyway, once I ascertained I hadn't read this one, I enjoyed it as I generally enjoy Gaston's stories. I appreciated the insight into the sedition laws etc. The characters here are quite daring - I'm not sure how historically accurate this would be, but it makes for a good read nonetheless.
