I have re-read this in memory of Veganbob who has died.
It is an interesting story and I wonder....why do they eat so much? They stopped for a picnic on a taxi ride when they were only ten minutes from their destination. Then when they arrived, they were hungry and had a meal.
There are other things that I wonder about but I don't want to spoil the story for anyone else who reads it.

Thanks for passing this book on to me Scoobydooo. I loved these books when I was a youngster and have enjoyed reading them again. This one made me jealous as I would love to live or stay in a lighthouse.
