I stopped in at Whodunit, Winnipeg's mystery bookstore this morning looking for some Christmas gifts. While I was there I thought I would see if they had any used books by Ian Rankin that would fill the gaps for his early Rebus books. They had this one and one other so I came away very happy.
Last Christmas my lovely husband gave me The Beat Goes On which is billed as "The Complete Rebus Short Stories". Turns out it includes all of the stories in this book so I have now read this book by default. I'll find someone to pass it on to I'm sure.
This book is going into bookstogive Mystery/Thriller VBB. There must be other Ian Rankin fans out there.

I just came back from a trip to Japan today, and this book was waiting for me:) Thank you, gypsysmom, for sending me this fantastic book. I read a few of Rebus' books and am looking forward to get familiar with him more.
