I'm mailing this book to dvg for the HGG.
What a wonderful suprise to find this in my mailbox today! Thank you so much for the wishlist book and the HGG smile! I am really looking forward to reading this one very soon. I have been reading alot of memoirs lately which all seem to have a sadness to them, so I'm reallllly looking foward to this one because it promises a few good laughs!
Thank you so much for thinking of me during the Holiday Gift Giving time. It really has made me smile. I have an idea of who to pass it along to next as well (love when that happens).

I really enjoyed reading this memoir. Rhoda Janzen had me laughing out loud many times (especially the first two chapters). Her humor and strength during her personal crisis was amazing. The insight into the Mennonite community was interesting to me as well - especially since she added humor to it as well. I do hope I find more by this author in the future. She writes well!
Sending to my friend, dg7500, who has this on her wishlist. Surprise!

WOOHOOO...Thank You, so very much for the lovely surprise! I'm in need of some lighter reading material at the moment, and this looks like it will fit the bill perfectly.
