1979 University of California Press trade paperback of the 1978 feminist Freudian call to change the balance of childrearing to a lesser role by women and a greater role by men in the family. Of course by now the point is moot, since no parent is home with the children, in this more modern era of broken family life. I found this copy yesterday in the free books pile on the porch of Montclair Library.
Edit May 4, 2021: This was all very tiresome, as expected a decade ago in my first note. I skimmed it to end for time. But somebody might get something of value from it.
