Fight Club

booklet:
Every weekends, in basements and parking lots across the country, young men with good white-collar jobs and absent fathers take off their shoes and shirts and fighte each other barehanded just as long as they have to. Then they go back to those jobs with blackened eyes and loosened teeth and the sense that they cand handle anything. Fight Club is the invention of Tyler Durden, projectionist, waiter and dar, anarchic genius and it´s only the beginning of his plans for revenge on a world where cancer support groups have the corner on human warmth.

I found the book today in the OBCZ EspressoHouse in Stockholm, Sweden. I love the film but I heard the book is even much better!
So, let´s see...
17.11.2010
Yes it is definitely a good book! It was a little pitty that I knew the story quite well from the film and was not suprised any more. One the other hand you read the book with another sensibility for remarks between the lines.
The author is a fantastic story-teller!
I dedicate this book to the German BC-member "workingmum", who just lost her personal fight against the cancer...
I feel so sorry for her whole family!
