WILD RELEASE NOTES:
released at tonight's meetup
I enjoyed this one - a fast-paced mixture of crazy Nazi mysticism, Nordic mythology, and Moorcock's particular brand of blood-stained high fantasy. Elric - the sorceror emperor of Melnibone - once again weilds Stormbringer in apocalyptic battle, and ultimate evil is driven from the world - for this time.
Always liked Elric - he was the very first fantasy warrior/sorceror I ever encountered, and Moorcock's mastery of the eldrich hasn't since penning that early short story.
I've given this a *9* - because Nazi baddies is a cliche just too outrageous, even for Moorcock!

Picked up from meetup - will go on TBR pile for now.
Has now been read by hubby - will be released soon.
Picked up at this month's BC meet-up after Pete said Cushla had given it a 9. From her entry it might actually be a 9 p*** t***. I'm not really into fantasy but Pete gave it a good plug, so I've got it now.
