very moving thought provoking read.
Picked up by Mrs Deltic at the Leeds Meet-up last night.
Will be sending this to a fellow bookcrosser soon! Too many books, so little time. Will look for another copy to read later on. Thanks for bringing this one to the Leeds Meet.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Happy Christmas! Secret Angel 2010.
Thanks so much for a lovely Secret Angel gift Mr and Mrs Deltic!
This book was on my wishlist because I'm very interested in the history of the American Civil Rights movements. It looks good.

Loved this! I've been interested in the history of the American civil rights movement for some years now and this was a different perspective than that I'm used to. The different women's stories were all sad, but inspiring. The book went some way to show that there were no 'instant winners' amongst southern blacks of the 1960s. Some fights get won, others are not so easy. But the overall message is one of hope.
Sent as a gift to my 2011 NSSVS partner - enjoy!
I hope you like the other book I sent also. I wrapped it to to post before realising I'd forgotten to register it so sorry about that!!!

Oooh, thank you LittleSuz for a great parcel and 2 fab books, that I can't wait to read.
I've picked up The Help several times in bookshops, and now I have my very own copy. Thank you. The Outcast looks great too.

Really enjoyed reading this. Thank you to all who've helped send this book on it's way.
Found it very moving, yet uplifting, and, as LittleSuz said, full of hope.
I have passed it on to a good friend. I'm not sure whether it will get journalled again, but I'm sure it will get read and enjoyed.
