Monty Roberts has single handedly changed the way horses are trained and taught, and his methods are so natural, and good for horse and horseman alike! He has exhibited his training methods far and wide . . . for the Queen in England, for track and rodeo folks and horse people everywhere. This is a very enjoyable true story, and you don't have to be involved with horses to enjoy it (though that wont hurt!!!) Read by the author, always a nice feature of an audio book!

I have to admit, I seem to like non-fiction MUCH better as an audio book... but maybe it's the horses in this last book that make me feel so positive about them!

Not knowing real horses all that well, I can't really say if Monty Roberts is the world's greatest horseman, BUT if there's a god in heaven he would be. Mind you, I don't buy into the whole God in Heaven thing...

He tells a good story and I can see how he might gentle horses with his voice. Not a sleepy voice, nor a grandfatherly voice, but a firm and smooth voice. I enjoyed seeing horses thru his eyes enormously!

I'm *reading* this one and have just started tape #3. The beginning was a wee bit slow but it grew on me and has made me get all teary several times already. The story about the little girl and her wish nearly did me in. I didn't want to get out of the car when I reached my destination today because I wanted to hear more. Good stuff.

I enjoyed this story very much and learned tons about horses in the process. Thank you all for sharing! I will be posting it on to Carlissa who has been waiting ever so patiently ;)
