This is one of Grisham's more interesting books, IMHO. For one thing, not all of the characters are laughably venal, so there's a pleasant contrast. Also, the first two chapters are certainly an attention-grabber. Deathless prose, no, thought-provoking, no, good summer read, yes.

But that's just one person's opinion. What do YOU think about this book?
