'My name is Inigio Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to Die'
I love the movie that was made out of this book and usually the book is even better than the film so I'd wanted to read this one for ages.
It is a good book but what Rob Reiner did with that movie is magical. It's one instance where the film surpasses the book.
Personally I find the introduction a bit self indulgent and the book itself gets a bit wordy and turgid. It could use some editing. The constant authorial intrusion is supposed to be humourous and maybe I missed the point but it just annoyed me.
Maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.
