Luther Malone is an ex-cop who walks with a cane. Grace Renquist is a librarian who can read auras. Their only common link is the Arcane Society, the secretive paranormal society who has paired them up to find a killer.

Although interesting, I found parts of this story to be over-written, and not quite as enjoyable as usual. If you are a fan of Krenzt though, this contains her trademark quirky characters and unusual sub-plots.

Picked up at meetup a year ago, it's been sitting waiting to be read until just recently. I really enjoyed it, haven't read a Krentz for a while and had forgotten just how much I enjoy her work. Thanks for the reminder!
