Quantum Leap: Knights of the Morningstar

From the cover:
"When the blue light fades after his latest leap, Dr. Sam Beckett finds himself wielding a sword--and facing a man in full armor!
No, Sam hasn't leaped into the court of King Arthur. He's jousting his way through a medieval recreation group, battling for the hand of a fair lady. But swordfighting isn't the only challenge Sam faces. A sinister new player has entered the game. Someone who threatens not only the Project, but Sam's life as well...
Another Leaper."

ETA: Its been clear to me for a while that this bookring had broken down. Looking back, it was overly ambitious to expect all of these books to move successfully through so many hands. The books that had begun their trip through the ring appear to be in the wild now, as indicated by a couple of catches recently. I hope the other books resurface someday as well, and that they are enjoyed and shared by their finders. |

I received this book with two other Quantum Leap books in the QL bookring series. I have signed up for way too many bookrings and I'm absolutely drowning but I will get to these books as quickly as I possibly can since I enjoyed the last three so much. Thanks, ResQgeek, for sharing these awesome books.

Alrighty, finished this one, now just one more to go. I enjoyed this storyline. The idea that someone else might be leaping never occured to me. This would have made an interesting episode. This book takes place during one of those Medieval Reenactment Festivals, like the Renaissance fairs etc. where people are dressed up in period costumes and play medieval games. I'd love to go to one of those, perhaps even participate - interesting crowd.

I found this book on a rack of free paperbacks at Joliet Junior College. I didn't know that there were Quantum Leap spin-off books. I really enjoyed reading it. It was just what I needed over spring break. Now it's going back to the rack to see where it will go from here.
