1985 Westview trade paperback of the revised edition of the 1982 historical assessment of the communist revolutionary government since 1979. This copy from 1988 was from Oakland Public Library, and seems to have never been returned, but is now no longer in the system. I found this copy some months ago in the free books pile on the porch of Dimond Library.

Edit August 2, 2021: This was rather dry and wordy, and suffers from the usual left-leaning editorial slant, mostly in errors of omission about horrors of the revolutionary left, and false amplification of supposed horrors of political targets of the left's rage, in this case, the Somoza rulers.

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. đź’– đź’– Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!

Please look her up on Google, DuckDuckGo, and YouTube. You can also follow her on Facebook and Instagram, among other platforms.
