From the back of the book:
"How can you know someone you've never met?

Joyce Conway remembers things she shouldn't. She knows about tiny cobbled streets in Paris, which she has never visited. And every night she dreams about a little girl with blonde hair.

Justin Hitchcock is divorced, lonely and restless. He arrives in Dublin to give a lecture on art and is persuaded to donate blood. It's the first thing to come straight from his heart in a long time.

When Joyce leaves hospital after a terrible accident, with her life and her marriage in pieces, she moves back in with her elderly father. All the while, a strong sense of deja vu is overwhelming her and she can't figure out why..."

This is a great book, though I cannot for the life of me figure out why the link happened! I know they try to explain it when Joyce is talking to her friends, but it still seemed a bit odd!
I liked the story, generally, though, even though the concept seemed bizarre. I loved the bit at the airport, with her Dad who'd never flown before, and his extreme reaction to the security measure of having to remove his shoes and belt!! (And I *loved* his reaction when he was told he'd get them back once he'd been through the scanner!)
I enjoyed the book, though parts of it seemed to take a long time to read, but I will not be likely to read it again, especially given how many other books I have in the house to read!
I'll pass this on next time I know someone who might enjoy it, or when I attend a BC meet.
