I put the book in the mail today. The guy at the post office said that it will be reaching Barcelona in one week.

¡Horror! It was with a sad heart that the Staff at the Book Cemetery learned that this dear Reading Companion has been kidnapped! No news of the volume has been had for a long time. Today (Thursday 13 October 2005) a Memorial Service for the book was held in the Chapel of Sighs and the memory of our dear friend was released to the ether down by the Pool of Rememberance. The Choir gave a beautiful rendition of "Ave Maria" and there was not a dry eye in the congregation. A Memorial Plaque was unveiled at the Memorial Wall, and carries this simple inscription...
"Sentimentality is only sentiment that rubs you up the wrong way..."
The Chief Mourner was miau, who had to be supported throughout the Ceremony and assisted to the Limousine. The Management and Staff of the Book Cemetery extend sincere condolences at this sad time. By an unusual stroke of luck, miau won this month's "Lucky Door Prize", a 12 month subscription to "The Gravedigger's Diary & Gazette".
