Even though I am not a fan of boxing I found this story a great read. Peter Fitzsimons has obviously done his research thoroughly, the insights into the attitudes of the times, both in Australia and America, particularly in regard to the black American boxers was very interesting. Coupled with his nicely flowing dialogue I definitely recommend this book as a worthwhile read.
