Welcome to BookCrossing!
Please make a journal entry to let me know that this book has been caught so I know that it has found a good home with you. I hope that you enjoy the book. You can make another journal entry with your comments when you are done reading. Then, whenever you are ready, send it on its way.
Lara has always had an overactive imagination. Now she wonders if she is losing her mind. Normal twenty-something girls just don't get visited by ghosts! But inexplicably, the spirit of Lara's great aunt Sadie - in the form of a bold, demanding Charleston-dancing girl - has appeared to make one last request: Lara must track down a missing necklace Sadie simply can't rest without.
Lara's got enough problems of her own. Her start-up company is floundering, her best friend and business partner has run off to Goa, and she's just been dumped by the love of her life.
But as Lara spends time with Sadie, life becomes more glamorous and their treasure hunt turns into something intriguing and romantic. Could Sadie's ghost be the answer to Lara's problems and can two girls from different times end up learning something special from each other?

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Put in chicklit/romance bookbox
Journal Entry 3 by Lydiasbooks at Tottenham, Greater London United Kingdom on Monday, January 31, 2011
Received this in the bookbox. Read and enjoyed it over the last few days, and will probably be putting it back in for others to enjoy.
OK, liked this one too. Took me a little to get into it because the main character seemed like a twit. But I liked Sadie so I stuck it out some and the book got better. Its a little more than just a romance/chick lit and that's a good thing. However (and this is a spoiler alert! Don't read any further if you haven't read the book yet!) how does she keep her business going after Sadie (her spy) is laid to rest?? I dunno...
Anyway it was a fun book, I recommend it. I am leaving it in the box cuz I finished it and the box isn't sealed yet ;)

I decided to take this one out of the bookbox since it has such good reviews from it's previous readers ;-)
Thank you for including me in this book box, marijketje. I am posting the box off to aunt-sophie in Quebec tomorrow.

I'm adding this to the Pandemic Book Box circulating amongst our local Bookcrossing group. I've come to realize that Sophie Kinsella is just not for me, but I think some of our members may enjoy this one

This book is being released into Book Box 1. We may not be able to meet in person but our books can still unite us.
Looks like nobody was interested in this one as it has come full circle back to me. I am removing from the box and will plan a wild release.
