The first Hamish Macbeth I've ever read. From the pile of books from parents in law for (reading and wild) releasing.
There's an annoying Tv celeb visiting hte village of Hamish, harassing a lot of the locals, and one day she ends up being murdered. This leads to interesting research in finding the murderer...
Kind of (at least a bit) similar to The Cat Who... and Montalbano in the descriptions of the places and the people. I'd love to listen to a Scottish mystery as an audiobook, told in a nice Scottish voice.
