An amazing book. Full of all sorts of interesting ideas. Some of Stephenson's wording was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the sentence "It's like putting on crampons and trying to walk through a room full of puppies". The characters were also entertaining, but having said that I must admit that I was pleased when I finished it. Perhaps it just didn't sit well following on after David Guterson's 'East of the Mountains'. I'll release the book at an upcoming Sydney Meetup.
