Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon + Lord of the Rings = Tales of the Otori

In book one, "Across the Nightingale Floor" we are first introduced to Takeo, product of the Hidden, a persecuted people with a peaceful nature, and of the Tribe, a mystical people known for their famous assassins.

This story is beautifully woven, full of magic and action adventure. The Nightingale floor is a wooden floor so skillfully laid that it sings a different song with each persons steps. It was fashioned to protect the ruthless Iida Sadamu from possible assassination attempts. Will Takeo be successful in outsmarting it and avenging his family? You'll have to read it to find out!

Its so good that the movie rights have already been bought by Universal Studios and the team that brought us Raiders of the Lost Ark !
