1989 Fawcett Gold Medal paperback of the 1953 thriller. This was on my list of best past thrillers to read when I bought it today for 10 cents from the sale shelf of Dimond Library.

I can let this go after I read:
1946-1949 More Good Old Stuff (story collection) [read 2012]
1949 Flaw (short story) [read 2012]
1950 The Brass Cupcake [n/a]
1951 Escape to Chaos (novelette) [read 2010]
1951 Murder for the Bride [read 2011]
1951 Judge Me Not [n/a]
1951 Weep for Me [n/a]
1951 (Planet) Wine of the Dreamers (Time and Tomorrow) [read 2015]
1947-1952 The Good Old Stuff (story collection) [read 2015]
1952 The Damned [n/a]
1952 Ballroom of the Skies [read 2015]

Edit April 25, 2018: This was not his usual hard-boiled style, and so I did not really get into it, and just skimmed through. I might have missed some good stuff. I currently have this ranked at #471 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.

Released 6 yrs ago (4/26/2018 UTC) at Little Free Library at 20047 Stanton Avenue in Castro Valley, California USA

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. πŸ’– πŸ’– Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!

Please look her up on Google and YouTube. You can also follow her on Facebook and Instagram, among other platforms.
