This is one of my favourite books. It's deeply disturbing, and I can't recommend it to everyone. It's certainly a distopian vision of the future. But this is a book that remained burned in my memory for years after I first read it; I can honestly describe it as unforgettable and haunting.
When I saw a second-hand copy of it at the local bookstore, I picked it up with the idea of sharing it on BookCrossing (I already have my own copy, and no intention of parting with it!).
