So far, this copy of the journal is in pretty good shape. The copy that fell into Newk's hands wasn't looking too good when i saw it last.
Received, wrecked, and passed on to Discoverylover in a slightly less pristine state than how I received it (I blame the "shower").^ ^

Managed to get this through customs ok! (OK I forgot about declaring it :s But they didn't seem to mind too much about the lip balm, chocolate, cold meds, or bottled water, so hopefully it'll be ok :s)

Hi all! Been doing some filing and came across a BCID written on a Beer of the Month postcard: October it tells me...The beer, you ask? It was 4Pines Kolsch - "Accompanied perfectly with our Grilled Barramundi Fillet" quoth The Australian Hotel.
So (ahem) a year ago.

Sorry all for being so tardy, but it was such a great evening meeting up with everyone at the BC Uncon (Newk, Skyring, DL, Wombles, meganh, and so on - sorry memory has failed me) that I completely forgot to make a j/e as I have only just sobered up.
Oh and btw had fun looking at this little book and damaging it's pages just a *little* bit more :P

The journal has come home to visit! I haven't had a chance today to look through it properly but it still smells like pizza from the Sydney convention dinner! I'm surprised a sniffer dog didn't get Discoverylover for this!
I'll send it out on another journey sometime soon!

The postie was very gentle with this book; the Christmas rush must be over and it arrived with its packaging totally intact- so I'll let my cats have a little sniff and see what they can come up with.
I must say that it is a bit on the nose so they will find it interesting. If they can't help things along I notice that there are some blank pages with helpful suggestions.

I have done my best to wreck this book but whenever I threw it up into the air it came down with its cover closed and I had to use some other methods at my disposal - not as destructive but filled a page or two.
Now I will send it on to Lisagt when i obtain her address.
