Dead to the World (Southern Vampire Mysteries, Book 4)

from the cover: It's not every day that you come across a naked man on the side of the road. That's why cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse doesn't just drive on by. Turns out the poor thing hasn't a clue who he is, but Sookie does. It's Eric the vampire -- but now he's a kinder, gentler Eric. And a scared Eric, because whoever took his memory now wants his life. Sookie's investigation into who and why leads straight into a dangerous battle among witches, vampires, and werewolves. But a greater danger could be to Sookie's heart -- because this version of Eric is very difficult to resist....
Overall, this is my favorite so far. I am really enjoying these books. I like Sookie and her attitude.

This book arrived a few days ago but I didn't get the chance to journal before now. Just finished my current book so I'll be starting it today.
I'm still enjoying this series. Something different always happens so you never know what to expect. I like the introduction of new characters with this one. Will be sending it on soon.

Thanks very much.
You certainly never know what's coming next or what characters you'll be introduced to next. I really hope I get to see a "gentler Eric" in the 4th t.v. series next year. When I first signed up for all 11 of these books, I was a bit unsure if I would continue to enjoy this series but I have no doubts now. It's very easy to get back into the world of Sookie Stackhouse. Looking forward to the next one.
I'll be seeing rainbow3 at the Aberdeen, Scotland monthly meetup on the 21st July, I'll give her this book and book 3 to her then.

Loved this and have something else I wanted to say (but sadly forget the details) amd it's in my notes at home. I'll update with more when I can. This evening I'm using a chums laptop to update some urgent BC records as my pc has been ill since November, sigh!
Apologies this is so brief and so late in the day...
