Product Description
For Durzo Blint, assassination is an art-and he is the city's most accomplished artist.
For Azoth, survival is precarious. Something you never take for granted. As a guild rat, he's grown up in the slums, and learned to judge people quickly - and to take risks. Risks like apprenticing himself to Durzo Blint.
But to be accepted, Azoth must turn his back on his old life and embrace a new identity and name. As Kylar Stern, he must learn to navigate the assassins' world of dangerous politics and strange magics - and cultivate a flair for death.

I took a gamble on buying a brand new book from an unknown-to-me author.I liked the tragic hero figure of Kylar Stern(selfish, but kind hearted). It is quite different from conventional fantasy, meshing hired assasins with magic. This is a duplicate copy and I have the full trilogy in my PC
Adding to the Pandemic Book Box circulating amongst our local Bookcrossing group. Hope the next reader enjoys it!

Taken from the travelling book box.
Phenomenal! One of those rare books that had a very interesting plot that wasn't extremely predictable (though sometimes those are nice too), a great cast of characters, and the first in a trilogy that ends in a way that makes me want to keep reading, but isn't a horrendous cliffhanger. Will absolutely be looking out for the second book.

Returning to Calgary BookCrossing group
Got these from a BookCrosser to return to circulation. I am sorting the books and either passing directly to a Calgary member who has requested it or returning it to the person who introduced it to the group. Hopefully this one will find a new reader soon!
