Charmed novels are going to be my new candy, I think. They're such quick, fun reads.

This one was a little off canon, because when the sisters traveled back in time, they didn't have powers. Of course, that could have had to do with the way they ended up in the past back then. But it was interesting to see the sisters split up (Phoebe in one time period and Prue & Piper in another) but still sort of working together to get the demons and get things back to how they were supposed to be. Nothing amazing or thought-provoking. Just fun and an extra Charmed adventure (which is great, now that the show is over).

Picked this one up at the BC meetup a couple months and read it yesterday. Definitely what my cousin the teacher tells her class is a "popcorn book." Enjoyable, but with no substance. I always enjoyed the television series, and it's easy enough to "hear" the characters here speaking in their own voices. I doubt I'll read a lot of these, but now and then I like to pick up a quick, easy read, especially in between heavier books.

On one of the book buffets in the hotel atrium.
