Synopsis:
"The magical new novel from number one bestseller Cecelia Ahern. Tamara Goodwin has always got everything she's ever wanted. Born into a family of wealth, she grew up in a mansion with its own private beach, a wardrobe full of designer clothes and all that a girl could ever wish for. She's always lived in the here and now, never giving a second thought to tomorrow. But then suddenly her dad is gone and life for Tamara and her mother changes forever. Left with a mountain of debt, they have no choice but to sell everything they own and move to the country. Nestled next to Kilsaney Castle, their gatehouse is a world away from Tamara's childhood. With her mother shut away with grief, and her aunt busy tending to her, Tamara is lonely and bored and longs to return to Dublin. When a travelling library passes through Kilsaney Demesne, Tamara is intrigued. Her eyes rest on a mysterious large leather bound tome locked with a gold clasp and padlock. What she discovers within the pages takes her breath away and shakes her world to its' core."

Read the book over the Easter holiday, not bad to have a book in one hand and chocolate in the other:)
Not sure what to say about the book though, there were times when I thought about stop reading it as I felt nothing at all was happening. But I did not give up and finished it;) it actually got really exciting towards the end and lots of things happened:) just wish the whole book was that good and not just the last part of it.

A wishlist book for Lunacia:) hope you will enjoy it:)
The book arrived in my mailbox today!
I've been wanting to read this since I first spotted it in a book shop. I've formerly read a book by the same author, P. S. I love you, that I wasn't too crazy about, but when I read on the back of the book the term "travelling library", it really intrigues me, as I am a librarian myself. I put it on my wishlist here on BC, so when Bjorg asked me if I wanted it after finding it listed there, I had to say yes!
Thank you so much, Bjorg! Maybe I'll see you again in Reykjavik some time? :-)

I was intrigued about this book when I first read about it, and I must be honest and say I wasn't too crazy about it at first. However, after a bit it picked up, and I actually quite enjoyed it. It wasn't anything like what I had expected, though.
This book will now travel as a ray, for others to enjoy.

Mailed this off to earthcaroleanne today.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Arrived at the weekend, following the bookray rule of not arriving on it's own. I don't think any of them will taken long though.
I enjoyed this, perhaps not as much as other Cecelia Ahern books, but I still enjoyed it. In fact I got really quite excited towards the end and my bus journey scooted past without me noticing it. Although there are lots of things in Cecelia Ahern's books where you have to suspend belief, the one that got me in this book was the fact the Marcus was allowed to take off with the mobile library wherever he wanted without question!
ETA - I have contacted marijketje for her address but she's not responded yet. As it's holiday time, I'll give her a little longer.

Off to the next person in the ring.
recieved the book today. Thank you earthcaroleanne for sending it to me! I'll read it as soon as possible, but I have a couple of other bookrings first. They always seem to arrive at the same time.
I'm not really sure if I liked this book, although it was pretty good. Cecilia Ahern is a very good writer and I loved her book P.S. I love you. But the other books I read after that were all a bit disapointing, maybe because all het other books are a bit unrealistic. And the power of P.S. I love you was, that it was so real. But you always find that you want to read on, because she's such a good writer.
On it's way to France.
Arrived today. Thanks !
Waouh, I just received the PM from lunacia asking to mail to Dei. I finished the book saturday but was too busy too journal it before and PMing the next. Anyway...
I liked the mystery about this strange family and very much the part about too spoiling children but absoly not got into the "diary" thing. I didn't know the author but she is very good at writing.
Thanks for sharing.

I cannot get into this book. I don't want to keep it any longer, so I'm sending it on its way. Thank you for sharing!
The bookray has finally found its last person this go round. I checked my mail yesterday, and there it was! I have a few books to get to, and then I will read this one. Afterwards, I will make it available as another bookray. Thank you so much for sending this along lauraloo29, and organizing the ray lunacia!
It was alright. The main character was not very likeable (to me) at the beginnning, and that makes it hard for me to finish a novel. I am glad a plowed on, because it did have a good ending to the story.
Not sure where this book will go next, but I know it will be a controlled release to someone who would like to read this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is quite different. It did get quite suspenseful towards the end. I had little idea how the book was going to end.
I have already passed this book on to my teenage daughter who might enjoy reading it.
