Mystery involving Park Ranger Anna Pigeon on the Nachez Trace in Mississippi.
This one involves poachers, grave robbers, her ongoing romance with the married minister/sheriff, and a murder.
A little too much descriptive material regarding slaves, Civil War, park services, etc. to suit my taste. However, I rate it an average
murder mystery for its type.

Sending off to fellow reader Kbgoffe who picked this book in Dancing-dog's virtual bookbox. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks so much for this book! I have really enjoyed reading this series. I will be visiting the Grand Canyon next week but I don't think I will have time to read this and release there. :)
PS No worries about the BCID, I have done the same. :)

This book is going along on my camping trip to Crater Lake & Diamond Lake. If I finish reading it I will release it somewhere between Portland and there. Enjoy!
This wasn't my favorite book by Barr but that is only because I missed her usual descriptions of the National Park. She has already written a book in this NP but still it is one aspect of her mysteries I love. The mystery plot of the book was done nicely.
