An Offer You Can't Refuse

Another fun and entertaining read featuring a young girl who acccepted an offer she couldn't refuse when she was a seventeen-year-old. Her boyfriend's mother offered her ten thousand pounds to break-up with her boyfriend, an offer she wouldn't have considered. However, her stepfather was in a desparate financial situation.

SPOILER ALERT!!
This was typical fluff and I liked it. The main characters were Lola, Sally, Gabe and Dougie. Minor characters Blythe, Alex, Nick and EJ.

I’ll send this off as a Bookmooch. Or Paperback swap
Lola loves Dougie but Dougie’s mother Adele, does not love Lola. Adele offers Lola a big chunk of money to break up with Doug. Lola takes it, but not for the reason you would think. After the break up, Lola goes far away so she can forget about Doug. When Lola comes back, she settles into an apartment next to her friend Gabe.
Gabe goes chasing after this girl from Australia and sublets his place. Sally, Dougie’s sister, moves in.
So now the novel takes you through the trials and tribulations of Sally, Gabe and Lola’s love life.
And after all of these years, Lola is still in love with Doug. But he wants nothing to do with Lola since she broke his heart years ago.
Lola also meets her real father, Nick.
This was a fun book. Not one of Mansell’s best ones, but good enough to keep my attention.
