Inspector Gamache is called back to Three Pines in the second of Louise Penny's series. A much despised woman is found electrocuted in the middle of a frozen lake. Since nearly everyone hated her the list of suspects is a long one. To complicate matters it appears some is out to get Gamache himself. An engrossing addition to the series. An excellent read.
