Lovely entertainment, just like the other books in the Thursday Next series, full of brilliant ideas and witty humour. I love all the references to great works of literature.

Picked this up from the table tonight. Everyone thought it was the second book in the series, but it turns out it's actually the third, so I need to find the one preceeding this one first.

Oh, this was the third novel?

Well, never mind, I got into the plot quite smoothly. the book is very entertaining, many weird ideas, very funny.

As I had already heard so much praise of Mr Ffordes books (and I missed the Swindon UnCon), this was a wonderful read to lessen my ignorance.
