Have brought this all the way from England to Canada with me because I hadn't finished it before I left, and it is a pretty good read! If you're interested in travel or have seen the TV series, it's definitely worth a read.

I left this there a couple of weeks ago, and I think it's become part of the decor now! Grab it quick and hopefully you won't look like a thief :)

As hunting for books is my favourite part of Bookcrossing, I was excited to see the book in Nellie's. I swapped 'The Book Thief' for this book with the assistance of the accomodating couple having brunch at the table. I will read the book and take it next month to the Calgary BC meeting, July 10 @ 11:00 AM at the Joshua Tree Cafe. I will offer it to the other Bookcrossers as a bookray and I'm sure there will be plenty of interest in the book. Thanks omgmni!

An interesting diary of the two bikers on their journey from Scotland to South Africa. As the entries alternated between Ewan and Charley, it was entertaining to see how an event was interpreted by the authors: a literary replay.

Bringing this book to the BC Meeting today at the Joshua Tree Cafe.

I picked this up at July's BookCrossing meeting. It will be added to the giant TBR mountain. Awesome seeing you today!

What a great adventure. It makes me want to learn to ride a motorcyle so that I can drive through Africa meeting all the great people. I'm going to have to track down the tv show so that I can get some visuals to go with the text. Thanks so much for sharing this with me.

This book is about adventure and I think it is time for it to continue to another reader who will hopefully take it on another adventure.

Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing September meet-up. I love Ewan McGregor. I haven't read Long Way Round but this still looks like a good read.

A great read. I laughed when Ewan went to the Skywalker home in Tunisa and no one recognized him. I need to pick up Long Way Round now.

After their fantastic trip round the world in 2004, fellow actors and bike fanatics Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman couldn't shake the travel bug. Inspired by their UNICEF visits to Africa, they knew they had to go back and experience this extraordinary continent in more depth.
And so they set off on their 15,000-mile journey with two new BMWs loaded up for the trip. Their route took them from John O'Groats at the northernmost tip of Scotland to Cape Agulhas on the southernmost tip of South Africa.
Along the way they rode some of the toughest terrain in the world -- and met some of the friendliest people. They rode their bikes right up to the pyramids in Egypt and visited Luke Skywalker's house in Tunisia.
