1973 Fawcett Gold Medal paperback. The cover design is nearly identical to the 1975 picture icon attached to this same ISBN. This copy was a discard from Dimond Branch Library. I found it there a couple years ago in the free books pile on the porch.

I can let this go after I read:
1938 Dynasty of Death [read 2009]
1940 The Eagles Gather (Bouchard family book 2) [read 2010]
1941 The Earth is the Lord's: A Tale of the Rise of Ghengis Khan [n/a]
1941 Time No Longer [n/a]
1942 The Strong City [n/a]
1943 The Turnbulls [read 2011]
1944 The Final Hour (Bouchard family book 3) [n/a]
1945 The Wide House [read 2011]
1948 Melissa [read 2012]
1949 Let Love Come Last [read 2012]
1951 The Balance Wheel [read 2013]
1957 The Sound of Thunder [read 2019]
1968 The Testimony of Two Men [read 2019]
1970 Great Lion of God [read 2020]
1972 Captains and the Kings [read 2020]

Edit January 23, 2021: This was okay, but I just skimmed it to end for time. It is quite a bit water-stained, and pages are coming loose, so this copy will likely soon end up in the trash, if nobody claims it. I currently have this ranked at #878 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
