Received in the mail today as a wishlist international RABCK! Thank you!

1992 Vintage Departures trade paperback of the 1988 collection of travel adventures by the humorist. This was on my list of best past travel books to read.

Edit September 15, 2021: I am finally getting around to finishing this, but holy cow, this guy cracked me up, and also pissed me off, which is fantastic. I don't know if I could read this again, because, well, it is kind of like getting slapped in the face, and enjoying it, but not wanting to get slapped quite the same again. Been there, done that. But this is a fun and stomach-churning kind of read. It is interesting to re-visit all these hot spots of the international 1980s, especially in retrospect of how they each ended up decades later. This dude has some brass nuts, for sure. So now I am curious to see what else he had going on, in the aftermath of his survival from the edgy world. I currently have this ranked at #68 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
