I had never read anything on Morocco until I read Malika Oufkir's autobiography, a stroke of luck on my part to have been introduced to Moroccan society via this courageous woman's heart felt story.
The cruelty dealt out to Malika's family by the depot king, Hassan II, is truly beyond belief. Definitely worth reading.
