Different cover.

Another excellent read from Grafton and probably one of my favourites so far. Once again she cleverly draws the reader in and the introduction of Dietz adds an added zing to the story - I'm assuming (and hoping!) that this isn't the last we see of him...

I really enjoyed how the two storylines were given equal time - neither were rushed and both endings were satisfying. All in all a very enjoyable book!

Have finished this and ready to post onto jonniboi.
Very much enjoyed this one, although am starting to wonder how many times Kinsey has been close to death in the books so far!
These are great escapist reading - looking forward to the next one.

hi, thought I'd give you lot a heads up! I've just started reading this book today. Not only have I just finished a not-so-great book that's taken me time to get through, but I have been revising like mad as I'm in the middle of exams. I'm eager to read this, and know it'll only take a few days, but with all the revision I've been doing it may take a week maybe a bit more. but as soon as I've finished I'll send it out :)

I also believe dutch-book has requested to be skipped on all the books. I was told that dutch-book contacted WelshHelen but I'm just seeing if this is true

WOW! I finished this book extremely quickly! Don't think I've ever finished a Sue Grafton novel quite so quick.

I had just finished revision for the day and thought I'll get stuck in this book. I did an hour's revision yesterday, I planned on doing 3 hours, but this book gripped me so hard and forced me to read it I just couldn't go back to revision.

I kinda missed the old Kinsey Millhone, in this one she kind of disappears a bit, in previous novels she was always gutsy and ballsy and she was the kind of person you didn't want to mess with, but in this one her character changed, however she became her old self towards the end. I think the shock of everything was what made Kinsey change.

I loved the bodyguard, he was a very interesting character, and I was quite surprised at how much Kinsey allowed him to have control. Dietz would be great if he returned in a later novel, but we all know that isn't going to happen, much like Julia never returned (from B is for Burglar).

A great book that I could easily read again! But I am loaded up with too many books and too much revision, so guess I'll pass it on. Will be sending out to dabercro soon :)

Another great installment in Grafton's alphabet series. I find her books easy to read and hard to put down. I agree with previous journalers that I like the character, Dietz, and hope that we see him in future books. Looking forward to "H".
