Random House sent me two Advance Readers Copy books in the mail and this was one of them. The author is new to me as this is her first book. But she was born in Canada and raised in New Zealand, so I'm interested in reading it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Winnipeg BookCrossers are having a Fringe Festival release party tonight and this is one of the books that will be released. Don't know where and don't know when exactly it will go into the wild but look around the theatre venues and Old Market Square and maybe you will come across it or one of its friends.

This release is also for the Monopoly Release Challenge - Round 6 for the Train team. This time we landed on the theatre square so what better place to release it than at the Fringe Festival. This book was left on the seat of the statue that shows Tom Hendry and John Hirsch, the founders of the Manitoba Theatre Centre. The statue is in front of the John Hirsch Theatre which is Fringe Central for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival. I left a Fringe survival pack with the book which consisted of a lovely Canadian flag fan (because it is so hot), a package of cheese and breadsticks (for a protein boost during the day), a package of sesame crackers (got to have that sugar rush too), a package of Splash chewing gum (that's the one that is advertised showing people falling into a pool of water when they chew it because after walking around in the heat a pool of water would be heaven-sent) and a travel alarm clock (so that you are on time for all the shows you want to attend).
