Promised to Spikesmom in the PIF project.

Just got in the mail from mom-of-one as part of PIF games. What a hoot -- it looks like it came from a bookstore near me!

The story line was interesting, even if the romance part was too predictable. There's a really good red herring or two thrown in for fun, but the biggest problem I had was the writing. The point of view is all over the place. Descriptions are repeated (and at times, over detailed).

Tension is good, plotting is a bit slow, though. Not enough of the characters of Jolynn and the detective, either.

Worth the read, but I doubt I'll read more by her.

Sorry that it took me so long to make an entry. I received this book a while ago and silly me never realized that having a new baby join our home (our first child) would completely changed my life - especially my livelyhood. ha~

Just ran across this book as I was cleaning off a book shelf. It's been hidden in my house too long so off in the Community Library you go! Be gone, little book.
