I hope you enjoy the book. I was giving the series a second chance, but still not connecting with my interests. Perhaps you will find a redeeming feature in your reading of it.

Picked this up at the Central PA Bookcrossing get-together in Altoona. I have the first one in the series but haven't read it yet. I'll let you know what I think.

I liked this series up until about the 4th book or so. There was a definate change in her sexual details in that it got very explicit. I'm no prude and like the good blue book but it just wasn't needed in the story. I suspect it was after her Dead Until Dark series was made in True Blood on HBO and she was writing for a different audience. That said, this book was pretty good and I enjoyed it. Took me a while to get around to it though, didn't it?
