A Sharon McCone mystery. This is the one in which Sharon meets Hy Ripinsky. An environmental group tries to prevent development on an already ravaged lake basin. US-Hong Kong connections, local eccentrics and disappearances; what more could you want? This riveting tale left me feeling as if I'd walked the lake bed myself.
I'm filling a box with books for the Austin BookCrossers and I'm raiding the shelf at Sleepers in Seattle to find books originally released by an assortment of Seattle BookCrossers. This one looked like a winner--so it heads for Texas.
