It´s been more than a year since her husband Martin´s death and Roe Teagarden is still in mourning. All she wants is to be left alone to grieve - but that becomes impossible when a movie company arrives in Lawrenceton. They´ve come to make a film based on a book written by her onetime boyfriend Robin Crusoe, a book that detailed their shared investigation of a series of murders that occured years before.
The locals are delighted. Roe is not. But Robin is beginning to win her over when the lead actress - who is playing Roe - is killed. Once again, the two of them join forces to thwart a killer - without knowing that Roe herself is the next target...[from the backcover]

Got this last week, but forgot to JE - I really like this series, so will get onto it soon!
Another enjoyable read. Roe is now a widow of one year. A film based on her involvement in a previous murder case is being filmed in her neighbourhood and an old flame shows pu as the script writer - soon after, his girlfriend ( also the leading lady) is killed ( three times!) and Roe is back in the thick of the mystery.
Off to chocdrop as an RABCK

Many thanks, sunlightbub, for granting one of my wishes.
Charlaine Harris books are my guilty pleasure!

I didn't enjoy this as much as previous Charlaine Harris books that I've read, but that could be because I haven't read any of the other books in this series and this is No. 7.
It was still a good, quick read though.
